'Gyeongju trip' Park So-dam acknowledged her resemblance to actor Choi Wooshik.
On the afternoon of the 13th, at Lotte Cinema World Tower in Seoul, a press screening for the film 'Gyeongju trip' was held. Attending were lead actors Lee Jung-eun, Kong Hyojin, Park So-dam, Lee Yeon, Byun Yo-Han, and director Kim Mi-jo.
'Gyeongju trip' (written and directed by Kim Mi-jo, presented by Lotte Entertainment·Michigan Venture Capital Co., Ltd., distributed by Lotte Entertainment, produced by Studio High Five, co-produced by Euphoria ENT) depicts a family revenge drama of four mothers and daughters who, for the youngest daughter Gyeongju who never returned from a school trip, go on a 'killer' trip after eight years of waiting. It is director Kim Mi-jo's first commercial film, who was recognized for solid directing in domestic and international film festivals with her debut work 'Seagull', and it has drawn attention before its release by being invited to the Hawaii International Film Festival and winning the audience award at the Florence Korean Film Festival.
Lee Jung-eun passionately played Ok-sil, a mother who dreamed only of revenge for eight years after losing her daughter; Kong Hyojin played eldest daughter Jang-ju, who adores her family; Park So-dam played second daughter Young-ju, a law school graduate who is the brains and currently unemployed; Lee Yeon played third daughter Dong-ju, a former wrestling athlete; and Byun Yo-Han delivered a strong performance as Baek Sang-hyun, who took the youngest daughter Gyeongju from the family.
Park So-dam, who played the second daughter in 'Parasite' and 'Gyeongju trip', mentioned the differences, saying, I don't want to admit it with (Choi) Wooshik oppa, but we resemble each other so much..(laughs) I have a memory of finishing what oppa couldn't finish. Oppa usually speaks well, but at events like this the ending doesn't come together, so I remember finishing it, she said, drawing laughter.
Meanwhile, in 'Gyeongju trip' she played the second daughter following Kong Hyojin, saying, My sister finishes what I can't. She always has leadership, qualities of leadership and responsibility and humor that that oppa didn't have, she said, adding, Thanks to this work I feel like I have become the nation's second daughter, and she smiled.
Meanwhile, 'Gyeongju trip' opens on the 26th.
