Actor Cha Yu-jin signed an exclusive contract with CLN Company and simultaneously announced she would join SBS's new drama "Good Partner 2," marking a double celebration.
Cha Yu-jin recently settled into CLN Company, which represents Ko Kyung-pyo, Kim Mi-kyung and Park Se-young, and is taking a broader leap forward as an actress.
The next work of Cha Yu-jin, announced along with the exclusive contract news, is SBS's new drama "Good Partner 2." "Good Partner 2" is a human courtroom office drama in which Cha Eun-kyung (played by Jang Nara), the lead lawyer of the country's first divorce law firm, joins hands with a partner bound by a relentless connection and faces an unavoidable challenge.
In the drama, Cha Yu-jin plays Shim Hyun-joo, the office manager of Libom, the country's only divorce-specialized law firm. Cha Yu-jin will show exceptional chemistry as Jang Nara's reliable and trustworthy colleague, raising the drama's immersion.
Cha Yu-jin, who debuted in the 1994 play "The Perimeter of the Hole," early demonstrated overwhelming stage skills by winning the Best New Actress award at the 44th Dong-A Theatre Awards through the 2007 play "Melodrama." Since then, she built solid expertise on prominent theater stages such as "Clumsy People" and "Mother's Home," and showed her presence on the screen in films such as "The Resistance: The Story of Yu Gwan-sun," "Rainfall," and "Honest Candidate 2."
Expanding her spectrum to media, Cha Yu-jin left a deep impression on home audiences with warm and realistic acting as obstetrics and gynecology nurse Han Seung-joo in tvN's "Hospital Playlist" series. She then demonstrated flexible character adaptability in various genres such as "The Veil," "Our Blues," and "Menoraegi," and last year she continued a busy run by appearing in the dramas "Pump Up the Healthy Love" and "Spring of Youth" and being appointed as an ambassador for the 12th Catholic Film Festival.
