BOYNEXTDOOR is solidifying its position as a top group as it continues its unstoppable box-office momentum in Japan.
BOYNEXTDOOR will officially release its second Japanese digital single "Boom Boom Boom" at midnight on the 18th. Ahead of that, they will appear on Japan's TBS flagship music program "CDTV live! live!" airing at 7 p.m. on the 17th to premiere the new song's stage for the first time and build excitement for their local comeback after about a year.
BOYNEXTDOOR has captivated local fans with its distinctive friendly charm and catchy melodies by releasing, among other works, its second single BOYLIFE and the song SAY CHEESE! commemorating the 85th anniversary of the popular animation Tom and Jerry. In particular, they proved their formidable ticket power by selling out every show of their first tour, which last year covered six Japanese cities with a total of 13 performances. At that time, they received enthusiastic praise from local audiences for perfectly performing Japanese cover stages such as Creepy Nuts' Bling-Bang-Bang-Born and Mrs. GREEN APPLE's 青と夏 (Aoto natsu).
On the strength of this rising momentum, BOYNEXTDOOR will officially kick off the Japan leg of their first world tour, BOYNEXTDOOR TOUR "KNOCK ON Vol.2" IN JAPAN, starting on the 21st, three days after the new song's release. The tour will visit six cities starting in Kanagawa and including Saga, Osaka, Miyagi, Nagano and Chiba; the Osaka and Chiba shows sold out early.
