Actor Lee Joo-an transforms into a loyal, doglike lawyer harboring terrifying ambition behind a million-dollar smile, aiming at Ahn Eun-jin's heart.
The new KBS 2TV Saturday-Sunday miniseries A Love Other Than Yours (directed by Hwang Seung-gi and Lee Ga-ram, written by Yoo Su-ji), which premieres on Sept. 12, is a realistic, relatable romantic drama about couples in their 10th year of dating confronting unfamiliar feelings from once-familiar partners.
The stills released today (the 13th) capture the sharp and deadly charm of actor Lee Joo-an, who plays Han Tae-seung, the key figure expected to send a powerful shock through the solid relationship of a couple dating for 10 years.
In the story, Han Tae-seung is a lawyer at the Jaegang law firm, a perfect ambitious person who spares no blood or tears for victory. As a representative of a film company, he notifies director Lee Mi-do (played by Ahn Eun-jin) of a one-sided contract termination, entangling them in a bad relationship, but he gradually finds his heart taken by Lee Mi-do, who remains unbowed by any ordeal, and faces unexpected emotional changes.
In the released photos, Lee Joo-an overwhelms the eye with a perfect suit fit and taut charisma. From the tense aura facing Lee Mi-do to the sharp gaze in the office, the cold personality of competitor Han Tae-seung is evident. Curiosity rises about what kind of rupture Han Tae-seung will create in the shelter surrounding Lee Mi-do, who has been in love with Namgung-ho (played by Seo Kang-jun) for 10 years.
Lee Joo-an, who left a strong impression last year playing Gong-gil in the drama Bon Appétit, Your Majesty, is expected to portray three-dimensionally everything from the cold lawyer side to the subtle psychological changes of a man shaken by an unfamiliar affection in this work.
The production team said Han Tae-seung has a charm different from Namgung-ho and added, said, "Lee Joo-an's weighty presence combined with his cold smile completes an attractive character. Please look forward to the intense chemistry and odd tension with Ahn Eun-jin."
Meanwhile, the new KBS 2TV Saturday-Sunday miniseries A Love Other Than Yours will premiere on Saturday, Sept. 12, at 9:20 p.m., and will reach viewers in more than 240 countries and territories worldwide through Amazon Prime Video.<
