Former comedian-turned-pastor Pyo In-bong, leaving behind the peak of his popularity, reported that he is now volunteering at Seoul Station.
On the 12th, MBN's 'Exclusive World' uploaded a preview video showing Pyo In-bong appearing on the program ahead of the broadcast on the 13th.
In the video, Pyo In-bong attracted attention as he was seen baking and handing out bungeoppang at Seoul Station. He was conducting volunteer activities for nearby homeless people.
He debuted as a theater actor in 1987, then in 1991 he debuted as an SBS specially recruited comedian and carried out activities. He gained popularity by performing in a group called Tintin Five with Hong rok-ki, Kim Kyung-sik, and Lee Dong-woo, and by appearing as a male nurse in the sitcom "Sunpung Sanfujinka," among other diverse activities.
However, Pyo In-bong said he felt disillusioned during his heyday, saying, "There are articles saying I earned 50 million won a day when I made a lot, but I had no satisfaction in the path I was on. The more I had, the less it seemed to be filled."
In particular, in the broadcast that day Pyo In-bong visited the practice room of his daughter Pyo Ba-ha, who is actively working as a musical actress. Pyo Ba-ha is currently meeting audiences with the musical "Western Story" and is scheduled to open "The survival of cruel fairy tales" on the 8th of next month. In response, Pyo In-bong showed his affection for his daughter, saying, "I know it's rude to drop in unannounced, but I just wanted to come and cheer her on," and later Pyo Ba-ha was shown crying and hugging Pyo In-bong, adding to viewers' curiosity.
Meanwhile, 'Exclusive World' airs every Thursday at 9:10 p.m.<
