The group CORTIS's mini-album 2 title track "REDRED" set a record as the 100th No. 1 on Spotify's "Daily Top Songs Korea" chart dated Aug. 11. After previously achieving the most No. 1s for a K-pop group, they have continued to break their own records day after day. They also held the top spot for 15 consecutive weeks on the "Weekly Top Songs Korea" chart, and the "Weekly Top Songs Global" chart has been charting for 15 weeks, continuing its long-running success.
Their monthly Spotify listeners exceeded their record high of 12.9 million. In particular, the United States, Indonesia and Korea ranked highest in listener share, proving their powerful influence as an emerging streaming powerhouse in the global market just one year after debut.
Their album performance is also dazzling. On the U.S. Billboard main chart "Billboard 200" dated the 15th, the mini-album "GREENGREEN" jumped 75 spots from the previous week to land at No. 39. It also ranked No. 1 and No. 2 respectively on the "World Albums" and "Top Album Sales" charts. In addition, as of the end of July, cumulative sales exceeded 3.36 million copies according to Circle Chart, and this year only two albums have sold more than 3 million copies domestically: BTS's "Arirang" and CORTIS's new release.
Their offline stage activities have also been notable. Having started their first tour "2026 CORTIS TOUR" last month in Incheon, CORTIS ignited the stage at Lollapalooza Chicago in the United States on the 1st. The six-city North American tour, which continues through the 16th, was also sold out.
CORTIS, who mark their first anniversary on Aug. 18, will hold commemorative shows "2026 CORTIS TOUR BIRTHDAY PARTY" on Aug. 22 and 23 at Korea University Hwajeong Gymnasium in Seoul to meet with fans.
