BTS member V said he has been experiencing hearing problems for about two and a half years and is currently continuing medication and hospital treatment.
V revealed this while hosting a live broadcast with Jungkook on Weverse on the 12th.
V said, "I've never told ARMY, but it's been two and a half years since my ears got worse," and added, "If this ear hears at 100, the other side only hears at 30."
He continued, "So I'm steadily taking medicine," and noted, "I'm also diligently going to the hospital."
When Jungkook expressed concern, saying he should take good care of it, V also mentioned that the symptoms worsened during his military service. V said, "Since I was with people who work out, they told me it was a mental strength issue," and added, "After that, I felt like I was hypnotized into thinking it was a mental strength problem."
In response, Jungkook said, "You shouldn't do that," and V again said, "I'm diligently going to the hospital."
Meanwhile, BTS, which V is part of, is on its "Arirang" world tour. They will continue with shows at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, United States, on the 15th–16th, and take the stage at Rogers Stadium in Toronto, Canada, on the 22nd–23rd.
