Actor Kristen Stewart (36) expressed deep affection for her wife and film producer Dylan Meyer (38), revealing an unusual view of love.
According to foreign media including the U.K. Daily Mail, Kristen Stewart appeared on NBC's The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on the 11th (local time) and mentioned her wife Dylan Meyer, who directed the film The Wrong Girls, which she recently wrote and starred in.
On the show Stewart opened by saying, "Dylan is really a cool person," then drew attention by confessing that working together on films is "my favorite form of intimacy." She added, "I really think a great film is like an act of love. That's why working with my closest friends and family is perfectly natural and complete," showing boundless trust in her wife and colleague Dylan Meyer.
The two also showed candid chemistry in their taste in films. Regarding the Eagles' 1977 hit "Hotel California," Stewart had a positive view while Meyer considered it an "ominous sign," revealing their differing playful opinions.
The two, who first met on the set of the 2013 film American Ultra, after six years of dating celebrated their marriage on April 20 at a Spanish restaurant in Los Feliz, California. In 2023 they founded the production company Nevermind Pictures and have continued their partnership.
On this broadcast Stewart also displayed her fashionista side. She captured attention with a mix-and-match look pairing a black leather dress with Adidas sneakers and a daring short haircut that created a stylish visual.
Meanwhile, in addition to The Wrong Girls, Stewart will continue a busy slate including the Amazon MGM series The Challenger about astronaut Christa McAuliffe and the A24 vampire thriller Flesh of the Gods.
