Comedian Maeng Seung-ji denied allegations of a "hair transplant."
On the 10th, Maeng Seung-ji posted a video on her social account saying, "I sprayed hair loss medicine and hair grew on my forehead."
In the video, when asked, "Did you get a baby hair perm?" she said, "I didn't get a baby hair perm. I don't have hair loss, but the stylist at my salon said it's good to manage hair loss in advance, so I asked at the pharmacy for hair loss medicine. So I just sprayed it on before going to sleep," she said.
She continued, "The medicine dripped down and the solution got on my forehead. So I wiped it with tissue and went to sleep, and after about a month and a half, unbelievably hair had grown here on my forehead. It's so amazing," she revealed the secret to her baby hairs.
When complimented, "Your face was already small, but with the baby hairs your forehead seems more three-dimensional," Maeng Seung-ji proudly said, "People ask me if I had a hair transplant." She repeatedly emphasized that it was not the result of a procedure, saying, "How is it? Pretty? Does it look like I got a baby hair perm? For the record, I've never had a baby hair perm."
Meanwhile, Maeng Seung-ji revealed that she underwent philtrum reduction surgery and corner lip surgery last month. She said, "Five years ago I thought my philtrum was a bit long. However, the midface proportion is on the short side so it was tolerable. At the time I looked into philtrum surgery, but every option carried too great a risk of scarring," and added, "Then I tried a philtrum reduction 'procedure' and it was so pretty. The problem was the procedure would revert in a month or two," so she finally underwent plastic surgery at a clinic with less scar risk and a natural result. She expressed satisfaction, saying, "My philtrum is shorter so I look a bit younger."
