Girl group BABYMONSTER reached a fever pitch this summer with their third mini album "Dance (CHOOM)" and once again proved they are a uniquely talented group through their "Gayo Daejeon Summer" stage.
BABYMONSTER appeared at the 2026 SBS Gayo Daejeon Summer held at KINTEX in Ilsan, Goyang, on the 9th, performing a total of three songs including the title track "Dance (CHOOM)", "SUGAR HONEY ICE TEA", and "MOON".
Appearing in a sophisticated white military look, BABYMONSTER overwhelmed the venue with powerful performances and hand-mic live vocals. They shifted freely across genres from refreshing energy to a dark charisma reminiscent of vampires, and even amid intense choreography they showed unwavering vocal ability and relaxed stage manner that matched the completeness of a solo concert. Immediately after the broadcast, their flawless stage videos spread across online communities and social media, drawing daily praise.
Behind this all-around activity is an intensive schedule carried out for about three months starting in May. BABYMONSTER launched a bold promotion in which all four songs — the mini album's title track "Dance (CHOOM)", the album tracks "I LIKE IT" and "MOON", and the digital single "SUGAR HONEY ICE TEA" — each received music video production and music show activities.
Thanks to the flood of content such as performance videos and choreography videos, the official YouTube channel's subscriber count surged by more than 1 million after the release of the third mini album, proving explosive fandom growth as it nears 13 million.
Meanwhile, BABYMONSTER, which began their second world tour "2026-27 BABYMONSTER WORLD TOUR [Dance (CHOOM)]" with performances in Seoul in June, will appear for the third consecutive year at Japan's largest music festival, Summer Sonic 2026, on the 14th. They will then add momentum to their rising trajectory with a global schedule spanning five continents — Asia, Oceania, South America, North America and Europe.<
