Group SHINee member Onew underwent a police investigation related to the so-called 'injection auntie' allegations.
Griffin Entertainment said on the 12th, "Onew visited a clinic in the past introduced by an acquaintance and received treatment for skin care," and "at the time, Onew believed the person to be a doctor or a medical staff member affiliated with the clinic, and there were no circumstances that would have led him to doubt the validity of medical licenses or procedures," in an official statement.
It added, "Onew testified to the facts as they were during a related investigation conducted once in May and cooperated faithfully with the investigation by law enforcement."
It also said, "Because the investigation is currently ongoing, we hope that unconfirmed speculation or information that differs from the facts will not spread," and "we will continue to do our best to protect the rights and interests of our artist."
According to the Seoul Gangnam Police Station that day, Onew, broadcaster Jun Hyun-moo, SHINee member Key, and YouTuber Short Mouth Sun (Kim Mi-kyung) were investigated on allegations that they received illegal procedures from nonmedical personnel in sequence from June through last month.
Onew previously issued the same position last December when allegations arose about his closeness to A, who was called comedian Park Na-rae's "injection auntie."

As stated in the statement released last December, Onew visited a clinic in the past introduced by an acquaintance and received treatment for skin care. Accordingly, Onew testified to the facts as they were during a related investigation conducted once in May and cooperated faithfully with the investigation by law enforcement.
