Actor Hwang Jung-min brought laughter with an overinvolvement befitting a devoted viewer of "Whenever Possible."
On the 11th broadcast, SBS "Whenever Possible season 5" featured Hwang Jung-min and Jung Ho-yeon, the leads of the film "Hope," as guests.
That day Hwang Jung-min showed unusual enthusiasm for appearing on "Whenever Possible." He said regarding promotion for the film "Hope," "My mother asked why I wasn't promoting it. I said I'm doing it now," which drew laughter.
Yu Jae-seok said that since Hwang Jung-min previously appeared on "Pinggyego," he had been frustrated watching "Whenever Possible" and had expressed a desire to appear himself. In response Hwang Jung-min honestly admitted, "The games are novel and fun, but the guests who play them were frustrating. I wondered, 'Why can't they do that?'" He has often watched other contestants' games and been more genuinely overinvolved than anyone.
Hwang Jung-min said, "The 'Whenever Possible' friends who appeared are all close friends and juniors, but they were so frustrating," and added, "Before coming today, the makeup artist and hair stylist told me, 'Don't flare up, don't get angry,'" which sent the set into laughter. Yu Jae-seok, watching Hwang Jung-min's unusual competitiveness, added, "This hyung can't control his temper today," which made things funnier.
Eventually Hwang Jung-min even raised a suspicion of manipulation, asking Yu Jae-seok, "Did you ever purposely perform poorly for the broadcast? I think there might have been such a time." Yu Jae-seok firmly denied it, saying, "Never. It's 100% real." As Hwang Jung-min himself jumped into the game, attention focused on whether the confident fan could truly show his skill.
