But the joy was short-lived as he hit a practical wall. Lee Chang-ho lamented, "I had to raise the purchase price and it was 2.7 billion won. I have no money. I looked into loans, but because it's a speculative overheated district, loans aren't allowed."
He continued, "Even if I gathered that much, I'd have to visit about 20 people to borrow money. There's no chance at all. I thought I couldn't do it this time, so I gave up," conveying his desperate feelings at the time. He explained that by ultimately abandoning the subscription he even incurred the disadvantage of a 10-year re-selection ban, which evoked sympathy.
