"Maybe happy ending" playwright Park Cheon-hyu will now share an agency with actors Ryu Seung-ryong and Kim Moo Yul.
PrainTPC said on the 11th, "We have signed an exclusive contract with playwright Park Cheon-hyu. We will spare no support so that he can continue meaningful creative work," the company said in an official statement. Actors Ryu Seung-ryong, Kim Moo Yul, Oh Jung-se, Kwak Sun-young and Park Yong-woo are affiliated with PrainTPC.
Playwright Park Cheon-hyu made new history last year by winning the Tony Awards' best book and best original score for the musical "Maybe happy ending" at the 78th Tony Awards. The work was recognized after winning six awards, including best musical, best direction, best actor in a leading role and best scenic design.
Playwright Park Cheon-hyu later appeared on the MBC variety show "I Live Alone" and drew attention by sharing his daily life in the United States.
Playwright Park Cheon-hyu has been actively working as a creator, writing and contributing lyrics to acclaimed works including "Maybe happy ending," "Bungee Jumping of Their Own," "Il Tenore" and "Ghost Bakery."
