The group's SEVENTEEN Dino's 'alter ego' Picheolin is receiving praise from global media beyond Korea.
British music·fashion magazine Clash recently introduced Picheolin as "originally born out of fun but has become an indispensable figure in Dino's musical activities," and highly praised the mini 1st EP '吉BOARD' as "an album that shows Dino's willingness to take artistic risks and a work that looks into the era when street music culture was vibrant."
U.S. music outlet Genius also noted, "Retro concepts are often used in K-pop, but Picheolin as interpreted by Dino stands out," focusing on the distinctive blend of 1990s sounds and modern elements. It also mentioned the track "Jeong-euro sarang-euro" and highlighted the uniquely Korean "jeong (JEONG)" culture and the musical consolation filled with deep affection.
