The group ILLIT added another 200 million-stream song, proving their formidable music streaming power.
On July 11, Spotify reported that ILLIT (Yun-a, Minju, Moka, Won-hee, Iroha)'s mini album 2 "I'LL LIKE YOU" title track "Cherish (My Love)" had accumulated 200,000,141,157 streams as of July 9.
This is ILLIT's fourth song to reach 200 million streams overall, and they have seven songs on Spotify that have reached the 100 million-stream threshold. "Magnetic" reached 800 million plays in the shortest period for a K-pop group's debut song (about 2 years and 1 month). "Cherish (My Love)", "Tick-Tack", and "NOT CUTE ANYMORE" each surpassed 200 million plays, and "Lucky Girl Syndrome", "Borrowed Cat (Do the Dance)", and "jellyous" each exceeded 100 million streams.
Proving their formidable music streaming power gave ILLIT wings for activities in Japan as well. Their second Japanese single "I Got Your Back" shipped more than 100,000 copies within three days of release and earned the Recording Industry Association of Japan's July gold disc "gold" certification.
