Hollywood star Matt Damon's daughter Isabella Damon (20) has signed an exclusive contract with global modeling agency IMG Models and has officially stepped into the fashion world.
On the 10th (local time), according to U.S. entertainment outlet Page Six, IMG Models recently signed Isabella Damon, the daughter of Matt Damon and Argentine-American film producer Luciana Barroso, as a new model. Isabella, who is attracting attention as the daughter of a top film star, is a 20-year-old college student enrolled at New York University (NYU) and plans to balance her studies with modeling activities.
Isabella graduated from high school in Brooklyn, New York, and entered New York University in 2024. New York University is also well known as a school attended by famous models such as Karlie Kloss, Christy Turlington and Lenie Klum.
Her father, Matt Damon, has revealed Isabella's exceptional academic ability and cheerful personality in several past interviews. In particular, Isabella is known for giving frank evaluations of her father's filmography.
Matt Damon appeared on Seth Meyers' talk show in 2023 and shared an anecdote about Isabella. At the time, Isabella mentioned her father's film 'The Wall,' and Matt Damon corrected her, saying the project he appeared in was actually 'The Great Wall.'
Isabella then responded with a remark to the effect of "there is nothing good about that movie." Matt Damon laughed at his daughter's candid assessment, and Isabella's outspoken wit became a hot topic.
IMG Models, the agency Isabella signed with this time, is a global modeling agency that has produced world-class top models. Since its founding in 1987, it has managed the careers of global star models such as Gisele Bündchen, Gigi Hadid, Bella Hadid, Hailey Bieber and Ashley Graham.
Isabella is about 173 cm (5 feet 8 inches) tall, similar in height to famous models such as Cara Delevingne and Sara Sampaio. With the added publicity of being the daughter of a famous actor, she is emerging as a new prospect in the fashion world.
In particular, many children of famous stars are also signed with IMG Models. Examples include Kai Schreiber, the daughter of Naomi Watts and Liev Schreiber; Iris Law, the daughter of actor Jude Law and Sadie Frost; and Romeo Beckham, the son of Victoria Beckham and David Beckham. Isabella will make her official runway debut through New York Fashion Week, which begins on Sept. 10.
