The movie "Spider-Man: Brand New Day" (director Destin Cretton, distributed by Sony Pictures) achieved box office success that has hit worldwide beyond Korea, rising to No. 1 at the North American weekend box office in its second week of release.
On the 10th, the movie "Spider-Man: Brand New Day," which has captivated Korea's theaters by drawing 6 million viewers at the fastest pace this year, set another remarkable record in North America, drawing attention.
According to Box Office Mojo, "Spider-Man: Brand New Day" recorded box office revenue of $145 million (Hanwha about 205.29 billion won) along with No. 1 at the North American weekend box office in its second week. This is the third-highest result among second-weekend North American openings, behind "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" ($149 million) and "Avengers: Endgame" ($147 million), demonstrating its overwhelming box office momentum.
