Singer Nam You Joung, formerly of girl group BB Girls, is releasing her first solo album 10 years after her debut.
R&D Company said Nam You Joung will release the first single of her remake project, "I really like you," at 6 p.m. on the 11th through various online music sites.
"I really like you" is one of the signature songs of the girl group Jewelry released in 2003, and it has been steadily loved across generations for its candid expression of the moment of falling in love.
Nam You Joung reinterprets "I really like you" as an upbeat sound with added Cuban and bossa nova rhythms, enhancing the original song's bright energy and relaxed summer vibe.
Nam You Joung's remake is not limited to "I really like you." On the 18th she will present Park Myung Soo's "Prince of the Sea," and on the 22nd she will follow with Uhm Jung-hwa's "Invitation," showcasing her facets as a solo artist.
She is especially drawing attention for the new charm she will show, with a performance at "Waterbomb Sokcho 2026" scheduled on the 22nd.
