Hollywood top stars Zendaya and Robert Pattinson have taken over theaters in 2026. From "Odyssey" to "The Drama" and "Dune: Part 3," they have teamed up in succession to become 2026's most talked-about "screen golden duo."
The first to open the gates was the film "Odyssey," which premiered on Aug. 5. "Odyssey" is a work that depicts the tumultuous 10-year journey King Odysseus of Ithaca endures to return home after the Trojan War. In the film, Zendaya plays the goddess "Athena," and Robert Pattinson plays the arrogant "Antinoos," delivering an overwhelming presence. According to the Korean Film Council (KOFIC) integrated box office system, "Odyssey" surpassed 2 million viewers within six days of its release and continues its explosive box office momentum.
Through the film "The Drama," directed by Christopher Bogle, which opens on Sept. 9, the two will present a full-fledged couple romance. "The Drama" is a romantic thriller about a happy couple on the eve of their wedding who confess hidden pasts, sending what was a perfect wedding week into unpredictable chaos.
Zendaya plays the bride with secrets, "Emma," and Robert Pattinson plays "Charlie," a man shaken by his partner's confession, portraying intense psychological suspense. Director Christopher Bogle, known for original direction, and Ari Aster, director of "Hereditary" and "Midsommar," participated in production to create a distinctive atmosphere.
In December, the finale of the year, they will cap the run with the blockbuster "Dune: Part 3." In this film, which deals with the massive war of "Paul" (played by Timothée Chalamet), who inherited absolute power, Robert Pattinson joins as a new villain aiming at the heart of the empire, "Skytail," and Zendaya returns as the warrior "Chani," foreshadowing a massive confrontation.
Additionally, Zendaya is enjoying the peak of her career, ranking No. 2 in the 2026 overall box office as "MJ" in "Spider-Man: Brand New Day," which recently surpassed 6 million viewers, and Robert Pattinson is continuing his busy schedule, having confirmed a role in A24's next film "Primetime."
