HYBE-Geffen Records' global girl group KATSEYE has finally unveiled the veil on their new release, heralding a glamorous comeback as "global pop stars."
KATSEYE (Yunchae, Sophia, Daniela, Lara, Megan, Manon) on the 11th surprised fans by releasing a Highlight medley video for their third EP "WILD" on their official YouTube channel. The roughly 2 minutes 52 seconds video compresses the diverse tracks included on the new release and the refined visual concepts into a retro film projector production, drawing explosive reactions from global fans.
The released video opens with "PINKY UP (Pinky Up)," whose addictive hook grabs the ear, and "Animal (Animal)," with a seductive beat. The title track revealed next, "Hootie Frutti (Hootie Frutti)," delivers an instant, intense immersion with an exotic Portuguese intro and a pulse-pounding rhythm that strikes the heart.
It then proves an expanded musical spectrum and completeness with the ballad "Bel Air (Bel Air)," which highlights KATSEYE's deep emotional line, the dreamy yet provocative "That Way (That Way)," and "Unloveu (Unloveu)," featuring delicate harmonies co-written and co-composed by member Lara.
Especially at the end of the video, the phrase "New era, new aura" appears, drawing attention. This is a message delivered by member Yunchae in the trailer for the theatrical documentary "KATSEYE: WILD HEARTS" opening on the 12th, and it raises expectations for KATSEYE's unstoppable trajectory to unfold alongside the third EP "WILD."
