Broadcaster Lee Hae young revealed that her hair significantly decreased due to medication received during her battle with lung cancer.
On the 10th, a video titled 'A fashion enthusiast's praise of Cortis ft. Saint Laurent, rock chic, Y2K, vintage fashion' was released on Lee Hae young's YouTube channel.
That day, Lee Hae young mentioned changes she experienced due to health issues while talking about scalp care. She said, "There was something I had overlooked until now. I didn't pay attention to hair or scalp," and added, "I acted arrogant because I had a lot of hair and healthy hair."
But the situation changed after her battle and treatment. Lee Hae young confessed, "I was very sick and had various drug treatments, so you can think that half of my hair is gone."
Fortunately, she also reported that her health has improved compared with when she was undergoing treatment. She said, "It has been quite some time since I stopped taking those drugs, and as my health has improved a bit, I realized that my scalp needs nourishment."
Lee Hae young said, "The key to looking young is hair volume," and introduced the scalp ampoule she currently uses. She added, "If I had done this from my 20s to 30s, how full and shiny my hair would be," saying she belatedly realized the importance of scalp care.
Earlier, Lee Hae young revealed that she was diagnosed in early-stage lung cancer in 2021 and continued treatment. Later on her YouTube channel she mentioned surgical scars, saying, "They removed the lung through the side, so I have many scars on my side," and she also revealed that she had a hard time as symptoms appeared in her eyes during the battle.
Amid this, Lee Hae young recently shared bright news that she has become engrossed in a new interest. She said she came to like the idol group Cortis and, talking about the members' fashion, particularly praised Martin, saying, "Martin is finished now. He will devour the fashion world," which drew laughter.
Her openness about the physical changes after long illness and treatment, while enjoying fashion and new tastes, drew attention.
