Comedian Park Se-mi revealed the story of donating the money she recovered after being a victim of a jeonse fraud to help other victims.
On the 10th, the YouTube channel 'Zzanbro Shin Dong-yeob' featured Park Se-mi, Kim Ji-yu and Lee Hye-ji, who exchanged various stories about money and friendship.
On that day, Kim Ji-yu revealed the anecdote that she had even taken out a loan and lent 10,000,000 won when Park Se-mi was taking on new content. Kim Ji-yu said, "I know how hard she works, so when she said she was taking on a new challenge, I wanted to help," showing their special friendship.
Later, when Park Se-mi's circumstances improved she repaid all the money she had borrowed, and when Kim Ji-yu asked, "Just 10,000,000 won for me too," Park did not hesitate and sent the money. Park Se-mi laughed, "That money helped me and it also helped Kim Ji-yu."
In particular, Park Se-mi recalled the time she was a victim of a jeonse fraud involving about 400,000,000 won in 2024. Fortunately she said she recovered the deposit and "I donated all of it," revealing that she used the money to help other jeonse fraud victims, which surprised listeners. Park Se-mi said, "Ironically, things worked out well in the house where I was a victim of jeonse fraud," and explained, "I wanted to share good energy. I thought, 'This money must not have been mine,' so I used it for good causes." She added, "Jeonse fraud must disappear."
Park Se-mi previously revealed that she used the money she recovered for donations to housing support projects and volunteer work for abandoned dogs. After showing exceptional resourcefulness through more than 50 part-time jobs, the story of Park Se-mi, who despite suffering major harm herself reached out to other victims, added warmth.
