ILLIT is heating up the Japanese archipelago this summer, solidifying its strong global presence.
ILLIT took the main stage, RAINBOW STAGE, at the large summer music festival 'LuckyFes'26' held at Hitachi Seaside Park in Ibaraki Prefecture on the 9th, connecting with about 30,000 attendees. They opened with the title track of their second Japanese single released last month, 'I Got Your Back (Feat. JISOO, MOMOKA of HANA)', and followed with the long-running local chart hits 'Almond Chocolate' and 'Magnetic', drawing explosive cheers. They then performed a total of eight songs with perfect performances, from 'jellyous' and 'I'll Like You' to the finale 'It's Me', showcasing exceptional stage presence.
ILLIT's explosive popularity in Japan was proven equally at offline events. At the release event held on the 8th at DiverCity Tokyo Plaza, as many as 10,000 people flocked to the venue and went wild for the lively live stage.
Active musical exchanges with local popular artists are also notable. Not only did JISOO and MOMOKA of the trending Japanese girl group HANA participate in the new song's feature, but they also drew attention by staging glamorous joint performances with local girl group CUTIE STREET at major events such as Fuji TV's 2026 FNS Music Festival summer and the Mezamashi WANGAN Festival.
Having successfully established themselves in the Japanese music market, ILLIT will carry the momentum into an encore tour this coming winter. They will hold the solo tour encore concert ILLIT LIVE 'PRESS START︎' ENCORE at Chiba Lalaport Arena Tokyo Bay on Dec. 23–24 and 26–27, giving fans another special time.
