Singer Song Gain challenged herself to obtain a driver's license for the first time in her life to overcome trauma from a past car accident.

That day Song Gain went to an indoor simulated driving experience center to prepare for the driver's license test. She said, "I came to get a driver's license. I'm 41 years old and I still don't have a driver's license."
The reason she had not gone for a license until now was because of a traffic accident she experienced in the past. Song Gain frankly admitted, "I have been in a lot of car accidents, and I have trauma about car accidents, so I'm scared."
In particular, she confessed that "if a safe distance is not maintained, I become anxious," revealing the fear that arose after the accident. She added that she was not taking the test because she especially wanted to drive itself.
She did not hide the nervousness before her first attempt. Song Gain said, "Honestly, I don't think I will get the driver's license. I think I'll fail the written test," and worried, "They say you're stupid if you fail the written test," drawing laughter.
Earlier, after finishing an early morning schedule in 2019 while returning home, Song Gain was involved in a traffic accident on the Honam Expressway near Gimje, North Jeolla Province. The vehicle Song Gain was riding in collided with a truck and was heavily damaged, and Song Gain reportedly complained of pain in her neck and back and received hospital treatment.
Interest is growing in whether Song Gain, who had lived with a fear of driving after the accident, can overcome her trauma as she attempts a driver's license for the first time at 41.
