Boss in the Mirror has continued an astounding run of being No. 1 in its time slot for 218 consecutive weeks.
According to ratings firm Nielsen Korea on the 10th, KBS2's Boss in the Mirror, which aired on the 9th, recorded a nationwide rating of 3.4%. This is the same rating as episode 368 broadcast on the 2nd, but it recorded a peak rating of 4.9%, continuing its solo run as No. 1 in its time slot for 218 consecutive weeks.
On the episode, "devil boss" designer Go Tae-yong and Yun Mi-ae, the sales director of a luxury foreign car showroom located in Apgujeong, Seoul, appeared as the "final sales boss."
Yun Mi-ae joined the company in 2011 and succeeded in selling a total of 1,942 cars, becoming an asset owner worth 20 billion won, and her sales know-how was her exceptional sense and strong rapport with customers. Watching Yun Mi-ae, a versatile consultant who effortlessly handled not only car consultations but also real estate consultations, dating advice and introductions to driving instructors, Park Myung Soo was captivated and said she was "Korea's No. 1."
In particular, Yun Mi-ae confessed that from her difficult childhood—losing her mother in fifth grade, fleeing at night to avoid debt collectors, enduring factory work and graduating from night commercial high school—she "grew up so hard that I could not afford to fail," leaving a resonant impression.
Meanwhile, fashion designer Go Tae-yong prepared final fittings for the play "Dead Poets Society." Faced with the challenge of having to replace 16 patches attached to a jacket, he even threw off his trademark sunglasses and showed his passion by doing hand stitching stitch by stitch himself.
Thanks to his passion and effort, the actors were extremely satisfied as if they were wearing bespoke clothes. Amid actors' praise such as "the pants are so comfortable," Go Tae-yong expressed pride, saying, "If I hadn't kept the fit of these pants, I was going to remove my name from the credits." When Oh Man-seok appeared, he let go of his usual sharpness and transformed into a gentle lamb, repeatedly praising "the fit is so good," eliciting laughter.
Chef Jung Ji-sun brought excitement and laughter with a matchmaking event intended to prevent office couples. Following "Yongsan District Lee Dohyun" and "Euljiro dog," "Muscle man from Yeoksam-dong" appeared, three men with different charms who created the illusion of watching a dating show. As a result of the final choices, Euljiro dog and Ga-young, and Yejin, who was chosen by the two men, selected the muscle man from Yeoksam-dong, resulting in two successful couple matches. Yejin said she was delighted and "offers infinite honor to the chef who created this opportunity," and Chef Jung Ji-sun's matchmaking arrangement ended in a great success.
