Singer and actress NS Yoonji (Kim Yoonji) shared an update that she is staying in the United States with her daughter.
On the 9th, a video titled "I guess I must have had a son" was uploaded to the NS Yoonji channel.
That day NS Yoonji said, "Today I planned a play date with Ella and her neighborhood friend, so we're heading to the park now," and went out with her daughter Ella.
Afterwards, when she spoke with her daughter she mixed Korean and English words. When she later met with friends she spoke entirely in English, and Ella also drew attention by responding in English, saying "Mom, open!"
In addition, NS Yoonji asked her daughter in English, "What's your name?" and Ella, as if understanding, answered "Ella." While NS Yoonji read an English picture book and continued asking questions in English, Ella responded immediately. NS Yoonji expressed pride in the captions, "Ella now understands English well."
NS Yoonji was born in Korea as the daughter of comedian Lee Sanghae and gugak musician Kim Youngim, but she emigrated to the United States as an elementary school student and holds U.S. citizenship. Fluent in both Korean and English, her daughter Heeseo (English name Ella), born to her in 2024, has also surprised people by mastering both languages early.
