Actor Seo Kang-jun returns as a real-life boyfriend whose looks are essentially romance.
KBS 2TV new weekend miniseries 'A Love Other Than Yours' (directed by Hwang Seung-gi·Lee Ga-ram, written by Yoo Soo-ji, produced by UNI CHEM(011330)) released on the 10th three still cuts of Seo Kang-jun transformed into Ahn Eun-jin's affectionate 10-year partner, the 'boyfriend'.
'A Love Other Than Yours' is a reality-empathy real romance drama about a couple in their 10th year of dating, whose most familiar lover faces unfamiliar feelings and the events that unfold. In the drama, Seo Kang-jun plays Namgung-ho, deputy manager of Hunnim Bakery TF snack team 3, and intensely depicts the realistic emotional changes of a man who wavers for the first time in front of an old love.
Namgung-ho is a person perfectly equipped with sociability, humor and kindness. After becoming a couple with Lee Mi-do (played by Ahn Eun-jin), who had been his friend since they were seven, he spent 10 years looking at only one person and naturally dreamed of marriage. However, emotions seep into a love that had been so solid that they shared everything, and cracks form in their feelings.
The released stills capture Namgung-ho's unique warmth and composure, from daily life opening the morning by watering plants to office life in a neat suit. Behind a gentle smile and warm gaze, curiosity arises about what the unfamiliar feelings that will shake a 10-year couple are.
In particular, expectations are high because this work marks Seo Kang-jun's long-awaited return to romance. His distinctive aura and delicate emotional acting are expected to create synergy when combined with a realistic romantic narrative.
The production team said, "Namgung-ho is an ideal lover who also carries the most realistic worries," and noted, "Seo Kang-jun perfectly immersed himself in the character from the first shoot and delicately expressed the subtle wavering. Meanwhile, KBS 2TV new weekend miniseries 'A Love Other Than Yours' will premiere on Sept. 12 (Sat.) at 9:20 p.m., and will be released simultaneously in more than 240 countries around the world through Amazon Prime Video.<
