The iKON group member Koo Jun-hoe revealed that he shaved his head ahead of active duty enlistment.
On the 9th, Koo Jun-hoe posted on his social media a photo of himself with his hair cut short giving a salute, leaving a brief greeting, "I will be back safely."
The update was released just two days before his enlistment on the 11th. In the photo, Koo Jun-hoe looks at the camera with a calm expression and his hair cut short for enlistment. The short remark he left without further explanation stood in for his feelings before enlisting.
Earlier, his agency 143 Entertainment said on the 28th of last month, "On Aug. 11, member Jun-hoe will enter the training center to fulfill his mandatory military service as an active-duty soldier."
They added that because many service members and families will be present on the day the new recruits enter the training unit, no separate official event will be held to prevent safety accidents, and asked, "Please continue your unwavering love and warm support until the day Jun-hoe completes his military service faithfully and returns to you in good health."
