According to ratings firm Nielsen Korea, the KBS2 weekend miniseries "The Husband" (written by Jung Jae-ha, directed by Kim Junghyun and Kim Min-tae), which aired on the 8th, recorded a peak minute rating of 8.7% and a nationwide rating of 7.7% (based on all households nationwide), setting a new personal best.
Kang Tae-Ju (Namkoong Min) met secretly with father-in-law Go Dong-chan (Jang Gwang) in a deserted place, and at Go Dong-chan's remark, "There was someone who first suggested fetal stem cells to me," he answered, "Was it Choi Chi-woong?" surprising Go Dong-chan. At the same time, Norman-hee, who was strangling Choi Chi-woong, relaxed at the line, "Who other than me can save your wife?" and Choi Chi-woong exploded in anger, saying, "We only had to deal with Kang Tae-Ju. At the end, a shocking reversal unfolded when Kang Tae-Ju rushed in after receiving a late-night phone call and confronted Norman-hee and Choi Chi-woong.
