The agency Cube Entertainment Corp. released a music video teaser for Miyeon's first Japanese digital single "RUN AWAY (런 어웨이)" at midnight on the 9th through IVE's official social media channels.
The released video captures Miyeon running energetically through various parts of Tokyo's city center against a blue sky, instantly capturing attention. Over a bright, upbeat rhythm comes the excitement-filled lyric "Oh いつか分かる Come, run away (someday you'll understand. come here, let's go together)," which evokes the fresh late-summer atmosphere and piques curiosity about the full song.
The new song "RUN AWAY" is a track centered on modern rock–based band sounds that perfectly blend Miyeon's powerful, refreshing vocals with delicate guitar melodies. As the song progresses toward the end, the increasingly layered arrangement and Miyeon's sweeping vocals combine to give listeners an overwhelming sense of liberation.
In particular, because this is Miyeon's first original Japanese song since her debut, she participated in the songwriting herself, embedding her unique musical color more deeply.
