Sally (Liu Xiening), formerly of the group Gugudan, announced her stance for the first time in three years regarding dating rumors with Chinese actor He Wei.
According to several recent Chinese-language media reports, Sally posted on her social media on the 6th, "Focusing on filming! Single! Do not disturb!"
He Wei also posted on social media the same day, "I am single. Do not disturb me. I have already collected evidence regarding the spreading false information and defamation," he said.
Sally and He Wei were embroiled in dating rumors several times over the past three years. The two, who formed a connection while partnering on a Chinese acting variety show in 2023, were swept up in dating rumors due to their exceptional chemistry.
Afterward, Sally uploaded a video to her social media showing He Wei in pajamas and then quickly deleted it, and her agency explained, "It was a gathering of acquaintances and a mistaken edit." However, shortly after, paparazzi repeatedly captured images of the two together, further fueling the dating rumors.
