Stray Kids is accelerating the global wave by consecutively releasing remix digital singles that contain diverse variations of the new song "This & That."
Stray Kids released their new mini album THIS & THAT (This and That) and the title track of the same name on the 7th. The title track, personally worked on by the group's in‑team producing unit 3RACHA, is a hip‑based groovy track that features an addictive melody and the group's characteristic relaxed confidence.
"This and That" shot to No. 1 on Hanteo Chart and Circle Chart daily rankings on the day of release, and immediately reached the top of the worldwide iTunes, European iTunes and Apple Music album charts. In addition, it achieved No. 1 on iTunes top song charts in many countries including those in South America, and the music video proved its strong impact by holding the No. 1 spot on YouTube music video trending worldwide for three consecutive days.
In response to this global reception, Stray Kids posted a timetable poster on their official social media at midnight on the 9th announcing the release of two versions of the remix single. First, at 1 p.m. on the 10th, This & That (This Remixes), which includes the original title track and the instrumental, as well as "This & That (This Version)" and "This & That (Chill Version)", will be released.
Then at 1 p.m. on the 12th, This & That (That Remixes), consisting of "This & That (That Version)" and "This & That (Cool Version)", will be unveiled. In particular, among the included tracks, the "Chill" and "Cool" versions were surprise pre‑released via iTunes on the 8th and received enthusiastic responses from fans.
The online cover image released with the poster pairs the signature truck that has consistently appeared in the album teasing content with a refreshing blue background to maximize a cool seasonal sense. It is expected to further prove Stray Kids' wide spectrum as the "music peddlers" by reinterpreting the original chill and cool moods more diversely and deeply.
