HYBE-Geffen Records' global girl group KATSEYE unveiled unique visuals that blur the line between everyday life and the wild, sharply raising anticipation for their third EP "WILD."
KATSEYE over the past week sequentially released concept photos for the new album on their official social media channels, announcing a multilayered charm. Private spaces such as beds and sofas were overlaid with rugged natural landscapes like the sea, desert and grasslands via a beam projector, completing a dreamlike yet intense worldview.
In particular, from the cherry-colored wig, blonde wig and transparent vinyl outfits shown in the pre-release music video for "Animal" to the blonde wet hair styling in "PINKY UP," the members' provocative and deadly transformations immediately captured attention. This visually realizes the bold theme of the EP "WILD," of breaking free from prescribed molds and embracing another inner self and desire.
Global chart surges began even before the comeback. The pre-release single "Animal" entered the U.S. Billboard main song chart Hot 100 at No. 24 (Aug. 8), setting a milestone. It then rose to No. 8 on Spotify's Weekly Top Songs Global and No. 5 on the Daily Top Songs Global, repeatedly breaking its own highest rankings day after day.
Under the "K-pop methodology" led by HYBE chairman Bang Si-hyuk, KATSEYE, which debuted in the U.S. in 2024, set records by winning three awards at the 2026 American Music Awards and earning two nominations at the 68th Grammy Awards in two institutional sector categories.
KATSEYE's third EP "WILD," which lit a record-level box office green light while sweeping global charts, will be released simultaneously worldwide on the 14th.
