'Groom's Class 2' Kim Yo-han recalled his difficult school days.
On the 31st episode of Channel A's variety show 'Groom's Class 2', Kim Yo-han and Oh Yeon-hee were shown enjoying a valley date with Park Sang-myeon and Kim Sung-soo.
That day Park Sang-myeon, who is actually the same age as his daughter as Oh Yeon-hee, said, "I came here with the heart of a father looking at his daughter," and began scrutinizing Kim Yo-han with a hawk's eye.
When asked what he does for work, Kim Yo-han said, "I run a volleyball school, I do broadcasts, and I have many things I'm preparing. This time I'll also be doing volleyball commentary for the Asian Games."
Meanwhile, Kim Yo-han earned points by showing a considerate side, such as bringing a blanket for Oh Yeon-hee, who came wearing short pants.
Park Sang-myeon said, "Yeon-hee is the same age as my daughter. So now that Yeon-hee is dating, I want to look closely at Yo-han," and asked, "Did you grow up wealthy?"
Kim Yo-han said, "I lived very hard when I was young. When I was little my family burned briquettes, and we lived in a one-room apartment." When Park Sang-myeon, surprised, said, "From outward appearances you look like you grew up as a gentleman," he replied, "No. When I was young I did manual labor on my own."
He added, "When I was a high school volleyball player, if I had a day off I did manual labor. I'm proud of that. I achieved my dream despite difficult circumstances. After paying the agent fee with the money I received, I had 45,000 won left. I lived on that as my monthly allowance."
Furthermore, when it was said that Kim Yo-han bought a house for his parents as soon as he started earning money, Park Sang-myeon admired, "Suddenly I'm about to cry. He's a more dutiful son than I thought."
