KOYOTE member Bbaek Ga revealed why she does cleaning content.
On the 7th, a video titled "The kitchen will change. kitchen items Bbaek Ga Unni tried herself" was posted on the YouTube channel Bbaek Ga Unni.
That day the production staff asked, "How do you feel about almost reaching 100,000?" Bbaek Ga said, "Actually we started earlier this year. It's been about five to six months, I think, and we started vaguely. We just started for fun, but many people watched quickly and because we did it with no expectations, suddenly hundreds of comments were posted and seeing things like that, I'm grateful," she said.
She continued, "If you keep doing what you can sincerely with a grateful heart like you do now, won't many people recognize it? You know the saying 'A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step'? We have to go a thousand-mile journey, and now we've come ten steps," she said humbly.
Recently Bbaek Ga started a content series in which she cleans homes that have become overwhelming. Even amid hard work, such as being injured during a 12-hour deep clean, she quietly continued the content. About this, the production staff expressed respect, saying, "Just looking at cleaning content like this, there's really no one who could do that even if someone else came."
Bbaek Ga said, "Of course I'm human, so wouldn't it be hard? It's hard, but that hardship remains as a sense of accomplishment, so it's okay. I'm truly enjoying it and having fun. I feel ecstasy at the before and after when this changes. So it's not as hard as you might think."
She added, "When we were young, didn't we watch 'Love House'? I really want to help like Bbaek Ga Unni's Love House. But this isn't something I can do alone, so many people are helping little by little like now. Since I do it with sincerity, I think those who recognize that will surely continue to help," she added.
Bbaek Ga also explained why she continues despite the difficult content. She said, "The way I see it is, the house is messy, right? I thought that house was that person's heart. I always think their heart is not organized now, and by cleaning the things left like this, I want to clean their hearts as well, so I do it with that feeling," she explained.
She said, "Even I, living life, sometimes get so exhausted that when I'm really tired I think 'I don't care.' Originally, no matter how tired I am, I tidy and set everything up when I come home before I sleep, but even I have times when I'm so tired I just leave everything strewn about," and added, "There are times I wonder how much harder someone must be struggling to be like that. If I can clean their hearts, that's enough for me," she said.
