Best Peak makes a final push for an additional extension.
In the final episode of MBC Best Peak, airing at 6:05 p.m. on the 9th, You Se Yoon, Jang Dong-min, Heo Kyunghwan, Boom and Yang Se-hyung summon their "best moments" that recall their heydays. They will also visit Manisan, which is said to be where Dangun Wanggeom offered a ritual to the heavens, to make a fervent wish for an additional extension.
In the broadcast that day, You Se Yoon returns as a returning student from "Bongsunga Academy," Jang Dong-min transforms into the security guard from the same corner to evoke memories. Heo Kyunghwan appears as the flower beggar from "The dignity of a beggar," Boom recreates his days as a reporter for "Section TV Entertainment Communication," and Yang Se-hyung also returns as a martial arts club student from "Burned high school," faithfully reenacting his appearance at the time and delivering cheerful laughter.
Especially, the members embark on a trip down memory lane by bringing up their catchphrases and behind-the-scenes stories from their heydays. Among them, Yang Se-hyung expresses a special pride in his signature work, "Burned high school."
Yang Se-hyung said, "The corner 'Burned high school' recorded the highest ratings per minute on public comedy programs. It exceeded 40%." He added that he will reveal an anecdote about how he suddenly felt his popularity overnight after the "Burned high school" broadcast, raising curiosity.
Boom's family story continues. Having previously generated buzz by first revealing his lovable elder daughter Yoon-seo through Best Peak, Boom this time brings up a story related to his younger daughter.
Previously, the Best Peak members lamented low ratings and made a 90-degree apology to viewers, which became a hot topic. When articles were even introduced that said, "It's disgustingly unfunny," and "We bowed our heads at ratings in the 1% range," the members took them in good humor.
