Son Su-a recently shared photos on her social media showing her visit to an art museum in Seoul. The released photo showed her sitting on an exhibition bench appreciating the artwork.
However, because she was photographed with her shoes off and her socked feet up on the bench, some netizens criticized her public etiquette, saying "as a public place, she should have considered other visitors."

This controversy also led to renewed mentions of Son Su-a's family. Previously, her mother Lee Kyung-sil had apologized after personally revealing an anecdote about being asked by another passenger to be quiet while she was talking with friends in a KTX carriage.
After that story spread as a "nuisance controversy," she expressed regret that an episode conveyed as a sign of reflection had been excessively amplified and was disappointed by the overinterpretation.
