'Love On The Menu' Ahn Heeyeon's peaceful day is interrupted by an unexpected event.
In episode 5 of the new KBS 2TV weekend drama Love On The Menu (directed by Hong Seok-gu, written by Lee Kyung-hee), airing at 8 p.m. on the 8th, the story portrays unusual changes surrounding Han Gyurim (Ahn Heeyeon), from the unexpected meeting of Kim Mujin (Ha Seok-jin) and Han Gyeol (Yoon Ha-bin) to Han Gyuyoung's (Park Yoo-na) sudden formal introduction.
Previously, eight years had passed since Kim Mujin and Han Gyurim broke up. The two unexpectedly reunited at a police station after an online game dispute, and as Han Gyurim was about to leave after the investigation, her son Han Gyeol and Jo Heungsik (Bae Jung-nam) appeared in front of her, leaving Kim Mujin frozen in place.
Meanwhile, Han Gyuyoung, who works as a dermatology pay doctor, smiled happily after receiving a proposal from her boyfriend Kang Seong-wook (Go Yoon). But another obstacle awaited her.
The released stills from the 8th show Han Gyurim plunged into deep worry as a series of unexpected incidents unfold. Her bewildered expression, as if unable to believe what is happening before her eyes, raises curiosity about why her ordinary life suddenly became tangled.
Tension also fills the scene of Han Gyuyoung's formal introduction. Han Gyuyoung appears at the meeting arm in arm with Jang Huntae (Kwon Hae-hyo), who is not her biological father. Although she wears a bright smile, her somewhat anxious expression conveys a precarious atmosphere.
Questions arise about how Jang Huntae came to take on the role of Han Gyuyoung's father and whether Han Gyuyoung's lie prepared for the formal introduction will go undiscovered.
Meanwhile, a scene of Kim Mujin and Han Gyeol alone together was also captured. Kim Mujin looks at Han Gyeol with a strangely warm gaze, and Han Gyeol, who at first was wary and awkward, gradually opens up beside him.
Although they have just met, the two grow close unnaturally naturally. Amid an inexplicable friendliness and subtle attraction, curiosity rises about what changes their meeting will bring to the story's future development.
