TWICE's "FANCY" music video surpassed 700 million views on YouTube, adding another record.
The music video for "FANCY," the title track of TWICE's mini album 7 FANCY YOU released in April 2019, exceeded 700 million YouTube views around 12 p.m. on the 8th.
With this, TWICE now has a total of three music videos with over 700 million views: "What is Love?," "TT" and "FANCY," once again demonstrating their powerful influence on YouTube based on steady global popularity.
"FANCY" is a mellow mood pop-dance track that carries a message of confidently confessing one's feelings without hesitation in love, like the lyric "So what if I like you first."
In particular, they showed a bolder change from their existing image by adding powerful choreography and a confident atmosphere to TWICE's characteristically bright and lovable charm. The glamorous yet sophisticated concept combined with an addictive melody won K-pop fans' enthusiastic love from the time of its release.
TWICE closed out their world tour THIS IS FOR at KSPO DOME in Songpa-gu, Seoul, in July. As part of the tour, they held large-scale solo concerts totaling 81 shows across 44 regions in Asia, Oceania, North America and Europe, setting records such as drawing the largest North American tour audience for a K-pop girl group, becoming the first overseas artist to perform solo at the Tokyo National Stadium, and attracting 640,000 spectators on this Japan tour.
