The D Awards, the first K-pop awards show to do so, has confirmed it will be held in Paris in January next year, marking its entry into Europe.
The D Awards (D AWARDS) will take place on Jan. 15 and 16 next year at the Plénitude Arena in Paris, France.
The indoor arena recently changed its name from Paris La Défense Arena to Plénitude Arena and can accommodate more than 40,000 spectators. It is expected to be a stage that can showcase the dazzling might of K-pop, which has expanded into the global market.
The D Awards started in Seoul in 2025 and, by selecting Paris as its third host city, has become the first K-pop awards show to enter Europe. As it expands its host cities and scale, it is expected to confirm K-pop's influence with a stronger, more solid foundation.
The D Awards organizers asked for anticipation, saying they are doing their utmost to prepare for a monumental stage in K-pop history. Detailed schedules will be announced later, and the domestic broadcast organizer is Channel A.
