Blackpink's Rosé's side immediately clarified reports that she would not attend the 10th anniversary event.
Rosé's agency, The Black Label, said on the 7th, "First, we sincerely thank the fans who send deep affection and support to our artist Rosé."
It added, "Recently, online, false information and unverified speculation regarding the artist Rosé's personal schedule and participation in the debut anniversary event have been spreading, and our position on this is as follows," it said.
The agency stated, "The artist has long prioritized that schedule to share a meaningful moment with fans, and has secured and confirmed all schedules in advance to have time with fans."
It also urged, "We too have been continuously discussing to the best of our ability so that the artist can participate in the important occasion, and we ask that you refrain from indiscriminate criticism based on one-sided speculation whose facts have not been verified," and added, "We will continue to do our best to protect the artist."
Earlier, Rosé was spotted in Los Angeles, California, ahead of Blackpink's 10th anniversary event. Some fans then speculated that Rosé might not attend the 10th anniversary event and crossed the line with their criticism.
But the agency quickly stepped forward and clarified that she will attend Blackpink's 10th anniversary event.
