Seventeen members 'Meboz' Dokyeom and Seungkwan will collaborate with the world-famous esports team T1.
On the 7th, HYBE Music Group label PLEDIS Entertainment Co. said Dokyeom and Seungkwan will release T1's official anthem (Anthem), 'One - Spotify Singles,' via the global audio·music streaming platform Spotify at 6 p.m. on the 10th.
'One - Spotify Singles' is a modern pop-punk track that combines intense electric guitar, hyper drum sounds and a breathless, driving chorus. It delivers a message of trust and solidarity that overcomes limits, becoming each other's answer even in moments of shaking and collapse.
In particular, the rising band sound and the lyric "We'll be together as one" are expected to deliver a refreshing thrill and overwhelming energy. Dokyeom and Seungkwan, Seventeen's representative vocalists, are expected to complete the message of support and solidarity for T1 more powerfully with their explosive singing ability.
This song was produced as part of Spotify's exclusive program 'Spotify Singles.' It adds significance as a special collaboration that connects fans from the different realms of esports and K-pop through music.
Spotify Korea said it judged Dokyeom and Seungkwan's broad musical expressiveness and refreshing, powerful vocals would best convey the message and energy of T1's anthem.
The teaser released ahead of the song's release also drew strong interest. The teaser, released on the 5th, was produced in the form of a fake documentary in which the fictional group T1 STARS, about to debut, has its debut song taken by the senior team Dokyeom and Seungkwan.
In particular, T1 players Doran, Oner, Faker, Pharzz and Keria surprised fans by transforming into idol trainees, offering a different kind of fun.
