IVE member Jang Wonyoung conducted a counseling session.
On the 7th, a video titled 'Nyungdungi counseling center OPEN♥ I confessed my concerns to Wonyoung.. what was the reply?' was posted on the YouTube channel 'Harper's Bazaar'.
On that day, Jang Wonyoung listened to fans' concerns and answered them directly, having an honest time. One fan asked, "Isn't it true that in life there are unfair things that cannot be explained with words? How do you cope so you don't break down at such moments?"
In response, Jang Wonyoung said, "I think this is really true and something everyone can relate to," and answered calmly, "Anyway, the truth will eventually come out, it's just a matter of time."
Jang Wonyoung sparked a tardiness controversy at a clothing brand launch event in January. Contrary to the simplified reports, it was concluded that Jang Wonyoung had arrived at the venue early and was waiting.
In July, photos showing IVE members visiting an amusement park in Yongin, Gyeonggi Province spread on social media, igniting a controversy over their attitude. This was because while other members clasped their hands together and listened to an official's explanation, Jang Wonyoung was captured with her arms crossed.
Later, Jang Wonyoung faced public criticism again for appearing with her arms crossed during airport departure procedures and for receiving her passport with one hand.
However, other footage released later from different angles showed her politely handing her passport to a staff member with both hands and responding dutifully to guidance, turning assessments of Jang Wonyoung's attitude controversy into an incident taken out of context.
