Actor Kim Min-ha reveals a surprising past in which she dreamed of becoming a singer.
At 9:10 p.m. on the 7th, episode 6 of the MBN·Channel S variety show Moo No Plan 4 will feature Jun Hyun-moo and KwakTube (Kwak Jun-bin) visiting a long-established sushi restaurant in Incheon with their "food friend," Kim Min-ha.
While they were traveling that day, Jun Hyun-moo referred to Kim Min-ha, who recently drew attention for passionately singing Amy Winehouse's "Valerie" on the opening stage of the Blue Dragon Series Awards, and praised her, saying, "She could be called Amy Winehouse's "Hidden Singer." Her singing ability is truly unreal."
In response, Kim Min-ha revealed, "Actually, I used to prepare to be a singer," sharing the unexpected past. She said, "In high school I auditioned and joined an agency, but they wanted to make me an idol," and added, "I wanted to be a jazz singer," candidly explaining why she gave up on her dream of becoming a singer.
Afterward, the three visited an unusual long-established Incheon restaurant that is a sushi shop but is more famous for its whole steamed sea bream. The place was so crowded that finding a seat was difficult, and after tasting aged flounder sushi from Wando and a large whole steamed sea bream, they repeatedly expressed amazement and launched into an intense eating show.
During the meal, Jun Hyun-moo asked, "Aren't you interested in romantic roles?" and Kim Min-ha replied, "I don't think I'm interested in things that require being pretty," stating her convictions.
Jun Hyun-moo then said, "There is a reason Min-ha is truly charming. If you search 'Kim Min-ha' on portal sites, that's what comes up right away," delivering a meaningful remark that raised curiosity. Kim Min-ha calmly conveyed her personal values, saying, "I didn't realize that was special until I started acting."
