Rapper Swings candidly revealed why he once decided to have a vasectomy and how he later underwent a reversal surgery.
On the 6th, a video titled 'The man who came back after clearing 12 billion won in debt and undoing his vasectomy | Swings and Shoes Off' was released on the YouTube channel SPNS TV.
That day Swings said "At the time, I did not want to ever have children" and "If a child were born at an unwanted time, wouldn't you suddenly become the head of the household? I didn't want to create that situation by mistake," explaining the reason he decided on the vasectomy. He continued, "Even when talking about children with my older brother, I thought 'I will never have children,'" and recalled, "It was like, if I'm not going to shoot a gun, why keep bullets? I thought we should prevent it in advance because I might make a mistake while drinking."
But over time his feelings changed. Swings said, "About seven to eight years after the surgery, I later started to want to have children," and said he decided on the reversal surgery.
However, the sperm test he took immediately after the reversal was unexpected. He said, "They said usually there should be about 200 to 300 million, but my result was seven," and confessed, "The mood in the exam room was devastated. I lost a lot of hope thinking 'Will I never be able to have children?'"
But the test a year later showed different results. Swings said, "Again, my sperm was full," and added, "I still don't know how it recovered from seven like that," drawing laughter.
Meanwhile, through this video Swings drew attention by candidly revealing his past choice, how his values changed over time, and the process of the reversal surgery.
