Kim Do-hoon critic wrote a post targeting actor Jung Jun-won, who became embroiled in an attitude controversy after recently appearing on a variety show, and then deleted it.
Kim Do-hoon on the 5th posted a screenshot showing the post and following and followers all at '0,' saying "Just don't."
To that post one netizen left a comment saying, "After the critic's post the content spread widely in articles, and the actor is being consumed like "an actor cosplaying as an introvert." You deleted the post but the perception that has already spread won't easily disappear, which is unfortunate. If you have time I hope you could also take a look at the actor's appearances on other variety shows. There's a lot of other sides that make it hard to judge from a single broadcast."
Kim Do-hoon replied, "He's an actor who acts astonishingly well, so I will watch the drama diligently." With that, it was confirmed that critic Kim Do-hoon had indeed targeted Jung Jun-won over the attitude controversy.
Kim Do-hoon earlier on the 4th said, "These days there are entertainers who come on broadcasts and adopt an introvert concept and pretend they can't do things when asked. Strangely, men especially do that." He added, "Introverts are not those people. Real introverts, when standing in front of people or a camera, try not to ruin the atmosphere and act more shameless than usual. And then they tremble with shame in the car on the way home."
Especially Kim Do-hoon said, "As an INFJ by nature I offer advice. Please stop adopting that strange introvert concept. It's the same concept I used to say on a broadcast about 20 years ago, 'I'm a bit of a quirky person.' It's peculiar. Professionals who take appearance fees and stand in front of cameras should not behave like that," delivering a sharp rebuke.
Kim Do-hoon did not directly mention Jung Jun-won's name, but the timing led to the remarks being interpreted as aimed at Jung Jun-won and became a topic of conversation.
On the Jan. 1 broadcast of MBC's Hangout With Yoo, Kong Hyojin and Jung Jun-won appeared, but Jung Jun-won appeared nervous throughout the show, could not speak properly, and could not perform his main craft of acting, frustrating viewers. Yu Jae-seok said "Let's move on to the next," and Haha made a motion of throwing his hat. After the broadcast criticism followed that Jung Jun-won's attitude was unenthusiastic.
Haha through his social media explained, "I was at the scene; he was so lovable, cute and funny! The reaction was to make it entertaining!" He added, "It's really difficult to be on Hangout With Yoo for your first variety show! He's not a professional comedian, so please view him kindly and just enjoy the variety show. Please have a happy day today! I applaud the actor! Please cheer for him! I support him!"
Kim Hyun-sook also on the 3rd said, "Why has the world become like this? When did the world become this way? Promotion was probably needed, he went because he was asked to, he probably did his best, and there will be individual impressions, but criticizing with insults because it didn't go as you wanted is too much," urging, "Let us all breathe a little," and rebuked the excessive criticism.
