The girl group LE SSERAFIM's influence is expanding relentlessly beyond music into industries such as sports, gaming and fashion.
LE SSERAFIM member Hong Eunchae took the mound as the ceremonial first pitcher at the Chiba Lotte Marines' home game held at ZOZO Marine Stadium in Chiba, Japan, on the 5th. Invited as a special guest for the Chiba Lotte Marines' signature summer festival "BLACK SUMMER WEEK," Hong Eunchae heated up the scene with a confident pitch.
In particular, with the Chiba Lotte Marines' decisive victory in that game, Hong Eunchae instantly rose to fame as a "victory fairy." In a postgame interview Hong Eunchae said, "Thanks to the members' support I was able to throw freely," and noted, "I'm even more excited because I will return to this venue next week for the Summer Sonic stage." LE SSERAFIM is scheduled to appear at "SUMMER SONIC 2026" from Aug. 14 to 16.
Beyond this ceremonial first pitch, LE SSERAFIM is continuing distinctive activities in the global sports and gaming sectors. Recently they performed the title track from their second full-length album, "BOOMPALA," on Amazon Music's "In the Paint," an NBA/WNBA-linked program, leaving a strong impression on global sports fans.
LE SSERAFIM, which made a big splash in 2023 with the collaboration single "Perfect Night" with Overwatch, is set to once again take the stage at BlizzCon® 2026, held on Sept. 13, proving their presence.
In addition, global crystal brand Swarovski, building on its connection with Korean ambassador and member Kim Chaewon, specially produced the opening outfits for LE SSERAFIM's second world tour. Swarovski recently outfitted Madonna and Shakira for the halftime show at the 2026 FIFA World Cup in North America, underscoring LE SSERAFIM's global stature.
Meanwhile, LE SSERAFIM is currently holding the "2026 LE SSERAFIM TOUR 'PUREFLOW' IN JAPAN," and after successful shows in Osaka and Kanagawa will continue the momentum at Shizuoka's ECOPA Arena on Aug. 8-9.
