Actor Yoon Kye Sang will appear in SBS's new drama "Pyramid" (working title).
On the 6th afternoon, OSEN reporting shows that Yoon Kye Sang recently received the script for SBS's new drama "Pyramid" and, after positively reviewing it, has decided to appear.
"Pyramid" depicts the rise and fall of the protagonist Lee Jang Hoon, the largest financial swindler since the founding of the nation. It is the new work of writer Park Kyung Soo, who has written solid, weighty works such as SBS's "The Chaser" (2012), "The Empire of Gold" (2013), "Punch" (2014), "Whisper" (2017), and the Netflix series "Dolpoong" (2024). "The Chaser" recorded a peak viewership rating of 22.6% at the time of broadcast and was very well received. Direction is by director Park Sun Ho of "Business Proposal" (2022) and "Undercover Miss Hong" (2026), production is by Studio S·Pan Entertainment, and scheduling is handled by SBS.
In particular, Yoon Kye Sang, who is starring as the lead, meets viewers every year by working without a break. After marriage, he has shown a wider range of characters on more diverse platforms such as Disney+ and Netflix. Last year he was active in SBS's "Try: We become miracles" and ENA's "Heroes Next Door", and after recharging he selected his next work and is set to return to TV drama soon.
Meanwhile, Yoon Kye Sang filed a marriage registration in August 2021 with a beauty brand entrepreneur five years his junior. The following June he held a private wedding ceremony at the Shilla Hotel's State Guest House in Seoul. <
