Actress Jeon Seong-ae recounted the story of being taken to the emergency room.
On the 5th, the YouTube channel "Mija's tavern" uploaded a video titled "I lost money in stocks.. my mother was taken to the emergency room. It was a hard month."
The video revealed comedian Mija's mother and actress Jeon Seong-ae being taken to the emergency room. And the caption read, "One dawn, my mother was taken to the emergency room by 119. Today we will look into that incident," which drew attention.
A week later at her parents' home, Mija showed her husband Kim Tae-hyun a bruised, swollen arm and said, "Mom was taken by 119." Jeon Seong-ae said, "But this is okay because no bone was broken. But she hit her head so hard. The pain traveled down to her shoulder," she said.
Mija explained the situation, "Why she was injured is because she was washing her hair. The bathtub was slippery. As she tried to get out she slipped backward. Isn't her body weight heavy? Putting all that weight behind the sink, she fell and hit her head. She fell onto the bathroom floor."
She recalled the dizzying moment, "I really thought she had died. My mother even briefly lost consciousness."
By contrast, Jang Gwang tried to give Jeon Seong-ae urheungcheongsimhwan after she fell but could not find it, so he said he put urheungcheongsimhwan in the unconscious wife's mouth, which drew laughter.
Furthermore, Jang Gwang said he put frozen sujebi dough on her for a cold compress. Jeon Seong-ae said, "The wound was so large, but when they put sujebi dough on it, it hurt so much."
Meanwhile, Jeon Seong-ae confessed she had many thoughts while being taken to the emergency room. She said, "If there is a brain hemorrhage there is a golden time and you need surgery, but if I went into surgery I thought I might not wake up, so I thought I should sort things out."
She continued, "Lying down to get a CT at the hospital, the thought crossed my mind that 'this could be the last time.' The life I had lived passed by briefly. I thought, 'I lived well.' I recalled three people I had not been able to forgive and decided I should forgive them all."
Above all, Jeon Seong-ae said, "I felt that with a son-in-law, the family would be all right more than with a husband and daughter and son. I felt reassured," which moved listeners.
